The EnGage consortium is made up of 6 partners from 5 countries all experiencing increasing rates of youth unemployment and reflecting variations of the NEET profile.
UK based Springboard Opportunities will lead the project and ensure objectives of the project are achieved through effective planning, management, communication and support of partners. They will be responsible for materials adaptation, as author of the original materials, including transfer of the learning materials into multimedia DVD and resource toolkit for VET providers. Springboard brings a high level of skill in relation to e-learning development and experience since 1992 of developing train the trainer materials to support effective delivery to youth.
The University of Szczecin (Poland) have been selected to lead training needs analysis as they can provide a rigorous qualitative and quantitative approach which comes from its academic setting; and have successfully completed this role in previous LLP projects.
Fundacion Laboral Del Metal (Spain) will lead the pilot test work package given their extensive work with unemployed and the alarming increase of youth unemployment in Spain (60.2% Q1, 2012).
Given their widespread work with the target group and in adult education Folkuniversitetet Kursverksamheten vid Lunds Universitetet (Sweden) will lead the exploitation work package.
Quality Management & Evaluation will be led by TIME Associates (UK) who have significant experience in EU and international programmes.
Dissemination will be led by Parsec Consortium (Italy), who have not only experience of youth but also have an extensive network of public and private organisations at a local, national and European level.
